Power fold mirrors

Featured Replies

Putting this up for a friend

Hi guys. Does anyone know how to disable focus St mirror fold. The mirror motor turns very slow  passenger side, only moves mirror few degrees then stops. I have looked in boot for fuse F44  car manual says controls power mirrors, the fuse is not there.

I also checked engine bay fuse panel for f25 as believe this was for Europe cars, again this fuse is missing. Everything else with power mirrors works great, tilt, heating, indicator.

I am trading car in soon so no point spending cash on new motor. Any help be great
Thanks, very much guys.

I don't have them on my focus but in my previous fiesta you could turn them off in the cars menu I'm sure.

On a Focus MK3/MK3.5 the power fold mirrors can not be disabled from within the instrument cluster menu.

The only way to disable the power fold mirrors is by changing the CCC (Central Car Configuration).

Close the mirrors using the drivers side controls, get out and lock the car, then unlock it, get back in and open them manually, then they will no longer operate automatically.
