Struggling to start

Hi all.

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I’m at a loss. Have a 2007 focus. It struggles to start anytime cold or warm. I have tried the following on advice.... plugs change, leads, coil pack, crank sensor

 it sounds like it’s turning fine. And does eventually start. Someone said it’s low compression.

But wouldn’t it misfire? As when it’s running it runs smooth and perfect. Any advice would be grateful before I shell out for more
