Focus 2.5 Ehpas help

Featured Replies

Hello

Can anybody help me to sort out an Ehpas issue in West London?

It returns me a C1955 (Steering angle sensor) error code.

After further investigation I found out the pump was changed as in ElmConfig it shows a different VIN that my car has.

I tried to reset and reconfigure using Forscan, to AsBuilt settings, returning some compatibility error.

The part number of the pump is the correct one, the software version is a little old, maybe an update for this will help.

I figured out that earlier models had the steering sensor on the steering rack, while mine has it under the steering wheel. That might be the reason for the error.

Otherwise power steering work fine, it's just the warning light on the dash that gives me a headache.

Thanks
