Featured Replies

I have found some oil on the pipe at the bottom centre of the car.

It's on the underside of the pipe around where the clip is. I have wiped it away since and it hasn't leaked out too bad since, tho havent had time to drive far yet

(this is not my car but looks like the same engine)

Recently had new leak off kit on the car could it it mess left over after the job?

Sorry for the rushed and not very clear post just wanted to get some info up to see if anyone knew anything or has come across oil there, here is a close look at the pipe in question (again not my actual car) , someone has suggested turbo seals possibly at fault assuming this is the intercooler pipe, https://ibb.co/0yHJSzj as they said that it was not uncommon for older cars to even get oil in the intercooler due to bad seals, the car runs fine the turbo is a bit whiney and probably a bit warn I guess. Guess I'll have to drive it about for a week or so to see if there are anymore signs of oil there but its definitely not bone dry
