Featured Replies

Hi all bought a 2010 ford focus 1.6tdci now having a bit of a problem with it as soon as you start it up its juddering really bad but worse when you slightly put your foot on the accelerator feels like it's missing a beat well a really big beat its blowing nice out the exhaust so it's not a blocked dpf I've cleaned out the egr and I've unplugged the injectors one at a time and it's just made it worse so can any one try point me in the right direction to getting it fixed please many thanks in advance

You need the fault codes, for scan a free down load and a elm cable from tunnel rat will do everything you require regarding codes, I'm presuming nag you have a laptop.

im not a mechanic by any stretch of the meaning but from that my first thought was blown engine mounts??

Have a look at the thread. It points to a bad wire going to the throttle body.

P02E4 fault code
