Hi, My friend has a 2012 ford focus mk 3 and he is having problems with his sat nav. can anybody tell me where the sat nav module is located as it seems to be the problem. If he is 2 miles from his house and he puts his post code in it says he is 60 or 7o miles away. hope somebody can help. thanks .

    The GPS antenna is incorporated into the roof aerial. The rest of the satnav is part of the screen.

    I would make sure the GPS antenna is working ok first as it is notorious for failing due to water ingress and easy to replace. There is sub menu on the infotainment screen that will show how many sats are being detected. In UK is usually upwards of 10 .If its down to a few it could be the antenna.
