2020 Kuga PHEV Recall

Featured Replies

I understand that Ford's had a fix but it did not fix the overheating battery problem on charging. They have gone back to the boffins for another fix.

Oh no we have one on order & dealer rang us to say about this already knew via internet , and told us car was in Dagenham waiting instructions , then 2 weeks later another phone call to say car was in Valencia factory 🏭!!!

strange that was lol !!!

Had a call from Ford head office date for recall action still not announced. Poor show all round think I’lL move to RAV4 plug in ASAP.

I read in the press that Ford's are going to offer in the way of compensation, 3 years free servicing, a free £500.00p fuel card & extended warranty. This is because the fix is going to take months rather than weeks or days.   I've also seen that the underneath of the car will have to be re-worked.  Has anybody herd anything different.  The dealership I use is none the wiser.
