Wierd wiper problem

Hey all, I have a 2012 1.6 diesel ecomatic focus and I'm having a strange problem with my wipers. Whenever I put them on, this can be a single wipe, intermediate or on full, the passenger blade always jumps over the other blade causing a nice bang and its damaged the blade. If its on intermediate or full then the cycle goes normal once the first cycle has complete but will do it every time on single cycle. This happens every time and even sometimes when I put the ignition on the wipers will do a random cycle which is weird as I don't have auto wipers. I have a Ford warranty but they want to charge me £120 just to diagnose it and then to find out of the warranty covers it. 

Sorry for the long post and thanks for anyone who can help
