Ford Focus 2019/20 Battery Question

Featured Replies

My Focus not going on to start Auto Start/Stop

Information on Display keeps saying car charging as reason why it’s not  kicking in .

just wondering is there a way from the display on the dashboard to check your battery 🔋

should be ok as only a new car .

Thanks .

What type of journeys are you doing at the moment? If they're all short ones that could be the reason why stop/start isn't working. Mine doesn't go into stop/start if I just do journeys of 10 miles of less, if I go on a longer journey then it'll kick in.

My new to me Mk4 did the same. I charged the main battery with a ctek charger over 8 hours and it’s been fine since. I think the stop/start battery only charges when the main battery is above a certain percentage.
