my car is MK3 1.6tdci 95hp 2014.

My question is do I have swirl flaps?

    was it designed in germany ?

    I thought these were a magic addition on BMW and Mercedes diesels designed to self destruct and trash the engine and turbo....  once that cat was out of the bag the marketeers spun the more sophisticated version called Start Stop and everyone adopted it....  

    they did such a  good job many here still think its helping
