Featured Replies

Hiya all im hoping someone can help.

I have a 2009 1.8 tdci that appears to have dropped a valve or 2.still runs but very noisy. Can i replace the head from an earlier focus ie 2004 onwards?

Are these heads the same or does it have to come offthe later engine.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Not sure about the MK1 1.8 TDCi engine but I can't imagine the head off a used KKDA 1.8 TDCi is going to be that expensive.

Thank you for your reply. So basically if i get a head from a mk2 or 2.5 i should not have a problem. 🤔

Yes mate, as long as the engine code is KKDA then it'll ensure you get the correct one.
