Rear Focus badge 2017 Focus Style Ireland

Featured Replies

I just purchased a 2017 Ford Focus Diesel (Style) in Dublin and there is no Focus badge - as in letters FOCUS on the rear hatchback door.

Should it have the badge?

My concern is that it might have been crashed and badge not replaced  - doesn't look like it to be honest car is mint.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

People pay to debadge cars. On a serious note is there a tdci badge other side? badges can fall off with excessive cleaning.

If you're concerned it's been crashed then check the spare wheel well for signs it's been straightend out. It's virtually impossible to get the metal straight again so repairers just do the best they can. If it's clean then it won't have had a bad enough crash to take the badge off lol.

However its much more likely someone has got some fishing wire and sticky stuff remover to 'debadge' it for a cleaner look as said above.

As above, I debadge all my cars so its likely thats whats happened. Luke is spot on though, check out the spare wheel well 👍

I'm another 'debadger'! Even on my last Merc I removed them - ironically, my little LX is the first one I've ever kept the badges on!
