Ambient air temperature

My ambient air temperature reads correct then i start the car and it stays correct until i drive then rises rapidly to 38c anyone any ideas I don’t think its the sensor in the mirror?

    I have same issue since last few days. But even at starting a car temp is wrong.
    Did you solve the issue? How and where was the problem?

    Hi, i too would love to know if there’s a fix for this ambient temp issue!

    i’ve a 2015 TDCi cmax which starts at +5c over correct ambient temperature and rapidly climbs to +10

    and i don’t want to change the wing mirror…

    It probably wouldn't help anyway, the sensor is fitted in the Door mirror.

    Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, if that doesn't cure it, you need a new sensor
