Ford kuga passenger air bag switch

Featured Replies

Evening ladies and gents, I’m sorry if you have gone over this subject before but I need advice.

ive not long owned a 2014 kuga titanium x and it has all the bells and whistles we love it. But....

it seems although it has near on every optional extra you can get I’ve discovered after the arrival of our new baby we don’t have an air bag deactivation switch for the front passenger seat. I was hoping I could just buy a switch fix it in the hole and plug it in, does anyone have any idea if there is a connector to plug into? Or if it needs to go to a main dealer to have it properly installed?

I’m suprised these aren’t fitted as a standard feature. Hope to hear from so of you soon!

cheers!

Sam

I’m not sure on that model, but generally there is either a switch on the glove box strike panel when the glove box is open, or on the panel on the left side of the dashboard when you have the passenger door open.

Hi, just wondering if you ever got a solution for this, have the same issue at the minute.

Well @Sjb1903 was yet another One Post Wonder !!

Sam joined 1st December 2020, checked back 2nd December 2020 and vanished in a puff of smoke (the air bag went off), so we will never know if they found an answer.

Edge of Reason did offer some advice on 4th December 2020 but of course Sam doesn't know that.
