I doubt this is a cheap modification. For a start, you'll need 'electric' on the rear windows which if you haven't already got, will cost a fortune. Then all the new control modules to enable 'global opening'. Much cheaper to train the family to close windows after them, and for yourself, get in the habit of closing windows sitting in the driver seat before exiting the car...😁

you would need the GEM unit and window modules from an ST3 or rs focus possibly immobiliser and keys too depending on how much the windows are lined in to the system,

some team hecko wind deflectors look good and will stop rain getting in as well as assist in defrosting the windows in the winter mornings because the air exiting the window is then directed down the sides,

easier to electrify the switches,

piggy back fuse in to the rear window heater fuse then a 20 Amp fuse in to the output from the piggy back fuse in the passenger footwell,

run a single 20 Amp cable from the fuse to each point of contact on the window opening switch which you dont want people to touch,

the cables will then become live along with the engine.

they will soon get the message

Although this is tongue in cheek in truth they wouldn't feel much if anything even if they touched the switches with wet hands. I was watching Repair Shop the other evening and Dom Chinea was using his electrolysis tank to de-rust some metal. He commented that he made sure the power was off whilst putting the parts in or his hair would stand on end. The picture then shifted to the power supply which was just a battery charger. I thought "good message but you wouldn't actually feel anything, firstly because 13.5 Volts isn't enough to drive a noticeable current through your body and second, there isn't a return path through the floor".

Have you put your finger in the 12v socket,

Let me know how it felt tomorrow when your arm stops feeling like it's dead😂
