Sync 3 slow following update

Hi Everyone,

Has any ever experienced issues with their Sync 3 system slowing right following a software update...?

I updated my software this weekend via USB to the latest version v3.0 from the Ford website. Everything was normal over the last 2 since the update however I was on a call today whilst driving and the Sync 3 froze appearing to cut the call and ever since the system has slowed right down.

Navigating the menu system is now very sluggish and very irritating, I have tried the system reset to see if this resolves the issue but the problem remains.

Various forums suggest an APIM issue but I’m just not sure how to resolve this.

The vehicle I have is only 3 years old and is a 2017 Ford Focus ST Line
