Good morning everyone,

I wanted to post here and see if anyone would be able to help me out a bit since my car was with a garage for 2 months and they fixed nothing except put a new turbo in which at the start didn't work, I paid the garage and got my car back and and managed to fix the turbo the garage are either stupid or we're trying to rip me off, the turbo hose pipe clamp was broken off thus their was no air flow, I fixed that but now have another issue for me to actually go above 3k revs on my drive and not be stuck at 20-30mph I have to rev my car a little at the start of the drive in neutral until the revs decide to all of a sudden shoot past 3k and then theirs no more problem and i can drive, the 6th time me doing this the check engine light came on.

I have a slight feeling it could possibly be the fuel filter as since me owning it now been 1 year and about 2 months I never changed the fuel filter, could it be the fuel filter is clogged?

Im stuck for options really and I've spent way more than I should fixing it and the mechanics in my area are just ripping me off and not fixing anything, I want you guys to give me some advice pretty please!

    The fuel filter would be the next port of call. They are cheap and 2 years or more it will be minging so a cheap fix would be good if that's your problem.
