Was wondering if putting a sub in my boot would be possible as something I’ve looked into fora while and haven’t seen it done?

100% possible in any vehicle,

I recommend going for a sealed enclosure rather than a ported,

Vibe 4AWG flatflex for the power cables,

Trip switch style fuse bolted to the side of the battery box,

Preferably a class D mono amplifier,

If funds allow I recommend choosing JL audio sub and amp,

I've got a 400w mono amplifier fitted on brackets in the panel of my focus to give an idea of how similar could be done to maximize space.
