ka mk2 heater evaporator hosing with heater motor

Featured Replies

Hi guys

New to the forum and would greatly appreciate some help. I have a 2010 ka titanium with individual climate control and apparently the heater matrix/evaporator housing and heater motor, needs to be replaced. ford part number 1550405, ford engineering part number 9S51-19955BA. Apart from the fact that you have to take the dash, steering and windscreen out to get at it , there are none on ebay etc as not many ka's were titanium spec and the climate control is digital and not cable operated , as it is on the normal air con versions.

Does anyone know where i could source this part used please ? to make matters worse, they are apparently fairly brittle so have to be removed carefully to avoid breaking them, not likely in most breakers yards these days !

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

regards

Mike.
