Hi I'm John a new member  I have a ford transit tourneo custom independence 2019  wheelchair adapted vechile  only did 7500 miles in nearly two years it's just had 4 new injectors through warranty it seems they were fitted with faulty injectors a lot of the ford vans

    Welcome.

    Yep, it's a known issue. You were lucky to get all 4 replaced as I've heard that Ford were just replacing the faulty injector(s) only...and then having to go back to the dealer again when the next one failed.

    There's also a recall to fix a problem with a problem with Adblue/oil dilution.

    Just the odd 1  or 2  vans / tourneo had faulty injectors.

    Hello all,

    I own a Ford tourneo custom 2017 170bhp automatic. 

    I have recently replaced my gear box with a second hand one, after changing it the van started and was driving fine. After 2 minutes however, the car turned off and would no longer start. I am now unable to get it to start. 

    my guess is that it may be due to a coding issue.

    Has anyone else had this issue?

    Did you do the full re-teach of the TCM after changing the gearbox ?

    The car won't start because it does not know the position of the gears. As you know the car will only start if the gearbox is in 'P' or 'N'

    The TCM has lost it's position and needs to relearn the gears

    Hi fellow Ford owners. Ive recently bought a second hand tourneo 15plate & when I start it, it smokes and smells of fuel? any help wouldbe appreciated.
