Ford Ka leak, help!!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a leak in passenger footwell of my 2012 Ford Ka. I have removed carpets which are now constantly pulled back to stop them getting wet and removed the socking sound proofing. I have been to the garage 3 times. They have checked the bulkhead, door membrane, door and window seeps, drainage holes etc. Told me they can’t do anymore for it. I have now found the water isn’t leaking in, it’s rising up from the seam between the left side of the footwell and the the body of the car ( almost like the crease). Any ideas? As I’m super stuck. I have spoken to body shops and they are saying they would need to have the car for days and strip the whole inside out to attempt to figure it out. So if I can, I’d rather do so myself to save the crazy amounts of cash they are quoting.

thanks 😊
