Keyless Locking Problems

Hi to all, hope everyone had a great Xmas.
Has anyone encountered the following problem: the keyless locking on my 2017 C-Max Titanium has stopped working during the past week or so. It unlocks & starts fine, just won't keyless lock. It locks fine with the button on the remote fob.
The problem occurs with both fobs, so I replaced the battery in both, even though they were only replaced 2 months ago, however still no luck.
Any advice would be gratefully received, many thanks in advance :-)

    It's often due to moisture in the sensors, happens to mine after a long wet spell sorts it's self out when you get a dry day or a long run that get the cars interior up to a even temp, in talking a couple of hours drive.

    Thanks for the advice Pete, much appreciated. It's minus 5 degrees here at the moment and prior to that it was raining heavily so I'll see how things go once the temperature rises a bit. I just find it strange that the car still unlocks & starts 'keylessly' but won't lock without pressing the fob buttons.
