One touch window Drivers Side Reset

Hi 

I have a 2006 ford Cmax, i cannot get the Drivers window to remember one touch, all the other windows are one touch but the drivers, i have tried what it says in the manual but still doesn't work or its me not doing it right. The drivers window when you press the button only goes down a quarter and you then have to remove your finger and keep doing it till the window is fully open, the window can be closed by just holding the button.

Does anyone know the proper way to set one touch on this model as i have tried a few different ways with no luck

    Lower the widow then hold it there for a second or two then Edge the window  up till fully closed then hold it for a second or two.

    repeat if needed.
