Hi folks what's the story with the mtx75 transmissions had done a clutch last week n put the tranny back in to hear it making a whining noise in neutral and whilst driving I'm tech myself n I think the shaft bearings are shot I just want to ask us there anything else I need to watch for on these units? I read on different forums bout shift tower failure and synchro failure my car at the moment is shifting up and down smoothly with no issues but box is noisey whilst listening I heard most of the noise is coming from back of the box at the end of the shafts a hearing overhaul kit with 7 new bearings and seals is round 150 quid
