2006 KA lost keys

Hi all, I have lost the three button key for my grandaughters KA, its 2006. Is there any solution to this apart from getting a locksmith out.

I have seen a key set on ebay offering ign and door locks very cheap at around £20. Its a plain key without the three buttons.

Is there a way to delete the remote type key from the car ecu and go back to a plain key.

EDIT we only had the one key when the car was bought.
