Anyone got dog cage in the boot?

Featured Replies

We’ve got 3 large dogs, with the sloping back I don’t think a normal dog cage will fit. Does anyone use the boot for dogs? Ideally I want something to fasten them in, I don’t 100% trust the young one not to jump out as soon as the boot opens! The only other thing I could think would be to fit a ‘grill’ behind the seats and have them lose in the boot (or tied somehow).

I looked onto this and I would suggest the 'Travall' dog guard, divider and you can also get a part that stops the dog from jumping out.

Buying these effectively makes your boot to be two crates (albeit you have 3 dogs)

Not cheap but specifically made for the Edge so very good fit

Agreed, I had one of these in my Kuga and was the first thing I bought for my Edge when I acquired it.  Not cheap but extremely well manufactured and robust.  I also bought the TravAll bumper protector to deal with the inevitable scratches from dogs jumping in and out
