Burtieboy
Hi I have a mondeo st 2017. Just been out to the car, gained entry, but as soon as i pushed the ignition button the car starts and the horn goes off. The only way I can turn the horn off is by turning the engine back off ?? Any idea what the cause is ? Cant find any info . thanks
iantt
Don't know what the cause is but give the horn push on steering wheel a move around. If the horn won't stop, you can temp pull the fuse 48 in the battery fuse box to stop it until you get it fixed.
Burtieboy
Thanks Ian Not sure if it is the alarm. Is the alarm continuous as well ?

Interior scan, press ok to de activate ?? help That message appears every time you switch engine off if that option is enabled in the instrument cluster. To check if it's the alarm horn or ordinary horn going off ,just switch ign on and press horn push to see if it's the same or extra horn sounds.
