Climate control and light upgrade - Grand C-Max

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice please?

I have a 2017 Grand C-Max Zetec Navigator and wondered if it would be possible to upgrade the heater controls to climate control?

The heater unit is electronic, albeit manual, so surely there is an electronic module? Therefore, is it possible to swap the module for a climate control unit (the single zone module)?

Would there need to be any reprogramming required or is just the case of swapping the unit over? The units are available form eBay for a relatively cheap price.

Additionally, I would like to upgrade the headlights to the daytime running LED type. Again, is it possible to do this? Is it an easy job to swap the headlights or is any additional wiring required?

Has anybody tried these upgrades before?

Any replies would be appreciated.

Thanks!
