Daddy Nev Posted April 12, 2021 Share Posted April 12, 2021 Hi all, I had my EGR blanked off on my Focus 3 163Bhp which improved economy and smoother running. I now have my Edge 2.0 180 and looking to see if anyone has blanked off the EGR or put in a reducer plate to restrict the flow. I'm aware the engine is a different PSA unit from the focus 3 2.0 TDCI but they all gum and soot up quite quickly. Lots of other forums say to just leave it and clean it every now and then and others say to use a restricter plate with a 10 - 12mm hole. I've bought a plate with 12mm hole but not put it in yet.
