Ford Kuga 2.0 duratorq TDi wet belt?

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2015 Kuga 2litre TDi with around 73,000 miles on the clock. Just wondering if this model has a Wet Belt in the timing system? I have heard of many problems with these belts. Also, when should the cambelt be changed please and is it difficult? Cheers Andy

Hi,
I'm pretty certain yours has the DW10 PEUGEOT/FORD engine in it. Cambelt is due at 125K miles, it's easier to change earlier rather than wait until it's too late.

I've not someone, but I'm pretty certain that they're not too bad to do, assuming you can undo the front pulley bolt!
