Mud Flap

Featured Replies

I have a 04 Ka and the g/f ran over a grouse, this knocked the mud flap out of place. I have pushed the flap back but I don't think its where it should be. Will it fail the MOT on his? Is it easy to fix?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi, as far as I am aware mots are 2 check that a car is road worthy ie in terms of safety and emissions and I'm sure a mud flap would not fall into these categories.

If u don't think u have fitted it back on right might b best 2 take it off and either check the manufacturers instructions 2 fit it correctly or ask some1 else 2 fit it for u.

U should google mot 2 find out what actually gets checked that's what I would do.

Cheers! Looked it up its doesn't seem to be an MOT issue :)

mud flaps nothing to do with an MOT, look on the road you'll soon notice dozens of cars with mud flaps missing, hanging off, etc.
