Water in rear light cluster

Featured Replies

I recently bought a streetKa 05 plate, it's driving fine, but there is moisture building up in the left rear light cluster! Is there an air outlet that could be blocked? When I indicate left it sounds like the bulb is failing but this recent heat has made me think it's because of the water, everything else works perfectly, any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have the same problem.

On inspection I noticed the underside of light cluster was cracked where the mounting bolts protrude.

I imagine this is due to over-tightening the securing bolts or forcing the cluster into it's mounting position.

With regards to the indicator bulb, remove the bulb and check for oxidisation on the bulb holder contacts ( due to the moisture / humidity ).

Hope this helps!

J
