I have had my edge since new and the only problem I have is the very poor sat nav system which sends me along unstable roads or takes me off a main road through housing estates only to rejoin the same road further on. I have installed the latest sd card with the hope this would cure the problem but having just been on a long trip the sat nav still goes it’s own way.

I have been looking on this forum but no one has flagged up the same problem, does anybody have an answer to this poor sat nav.

That's older sat navs for you. Same as mine, had some wierd routing when driving into London the other week.

I generally always go for 'fastest route' but as most country lanes are 60mph it judges them as being fast so thats a common one for worse routes.
