Streetka won't start, can't find a spark or 12V supply to the coil

I'm trying to get my daughter's Streetka started.  It's been standing without running for most of a year so I had to jump it, but it ran for about 3 seconds and then stopped and now it isn't catching at all.

I thought it might be fuel, but there is fuel in the rail.  I went to get something to blow out the fuel lines and the shop didn't have anything but suggested it might be the coil.

I've tried putting test lights on the spark leads, taking the plug out and earthing it against the block, and earthing it through jump leads to the suspension tower, but I can't see a spark anywhere.  None of the connections in the lead into the coil seem to be doing anything, either 12V or switching, whether just with the ignition on or with the engine cranking.

The immobiliser light flashes normally, lights for 2-3 seconds when the ignition is turned on, then stays off.

Can anyone suggest what's upstream of the coil (ECU?), or anything else I could be testing please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Jon ?

Welcome to the Ford Owners Club, please complete your profile as it helps to know the Year, Model, Engine.

If the car has been standing a long time there is the potential for just about anything. First put a good fully charged battery on the car. I suspect its more of a fuel problem, so with a good strong battery fitted put your foot hard down to the floor on the accelerator and keep it down. Turn the car over for 20 seconds, then rest. All the time keep the pedal down to the floor. Try again in about 20 seconds and keep it turning over. There is a good chance it will start, it will run rough for a little while but should sort itself out.
