Led bulb replacement.

Hi i would like to change the number plate lamp bulbs, in the 2016 grand c max the handbook states that the bulbs are led and not replaceable,i went to have a look but the lamps dont seem to come out completely ,also are the bulbs replaceable in the mirror puddle lamps.

Hi ive sorted my queries out firstly the puddle lamps you have to remove mirror glass to get to the clip which is part of the lamp, push it in and the lamp comes out, secondly the number plate lamps are not leds as stated in the handbook, they are the usual 501 bulbs, even so the lamps were a bit of a struggle getting them out. Hope this helps.
