Mondo Fuse Box Missing

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anybody know where fuse box is on a 1997 R reg Mondeo Ghia X. The manual says under the dash, left hand side - not there. I have spent many hours trying to locate it. I found the one under the bonnet but not the main one. I'm trying to check out the central locking fuse.

Any help appreciated.

I've looked there with a powerful torch but nowhere in sight.

it might be on a drop down hinge, while since i had my mk1/2 put the lights on with the door open and ign on and follow the sound of the buzzer as the buzzer relay should be in the internal f/box

Just tried that. No luck. Not a murmur coming from anywhere. Looked again but no drop down hinge.

i had a mkii its definitely there. if someones messed about and removed it then theve done a hell of a lot of work!

remove the carpeting from underneath the glove box and then push the buuton and it drops down

as the guy above says to move it would be one hell of a job so it must be there, try using anything like hazards indicators washer/wipers anything using a relay and should be able to hear them clicking,or (failing that short out the battery and see where the fire starts from,JOKE)
