2019 ford edge st line eco blue

Featured Replies

Hi guys can anyone help I need some pictures from under the rear bumper towards the rear wheel arches . I had a tow bar fitted and I think some covers have been left off . when I look under the car towards the rear of the wheel arch drivers side  I can see what looks like white sound proofing material and the parking sensor plugs . Also I'm not sure about the passenger rear by the adblue  tank . ford can't seem to find any parts break down pictures for me . If no one can help I will have to do a 100+ mile round trip just to go look at one .  I had covers fitted to my 2017 edge sport so I'm thinking there should be some on the 2019 model . Any help would be great cheers guys

Will try and get some pics of mine tomorrow for you.

Martinique you are a star thank you 😊

Have done a couple, plus a vid starting from the bumper on the driver's side, Can't see any sound proofing so would assume

you have bits missing on that side. Also, the only thing visible on the other side is the heat shield

The pics & video are two big to post.

Do you have either face book or messenger i can send them to?

You can't have both. Unless of course you go EV and then they have loads of torque and the government keeps telling us all how economical they are (so that must be true). So only the little problem of the range being 10 miles between recharges 🤣

The Edge tows really well, especially the Auto, but bear in mind that the max towbar nose weight limit on the Edge is only 90Kg (I believe the Kuga is 100kg). That is a limitation of the mount to the chassis! We tow a single axle 1650kg caravan with 90kg on the nose and it's rock solid and you don't even know your towing after a few minutes! As for economy, the Edge is anywhere between 33 (heavy foot) to 41 (light foot!) mpg without a caravan and drops to around 27 mpg (ish) when towing (1650kg).
