Ecoboost 1.0 strange throttle/boost

Featured Replies

Hi,

Having a bit of an issue with the mk7.5 ecoboost fiesta.

The car is remapped to a stage 2 with a sport cat. The issue is mostly from 3rd onward it will accelerate like normal and then all the sudden stop accelerating past 65-70mph. Now if you let the throttle off a bit and slowly put it back on it will full boost again and accelerate. You can make it fully boost the who way of you slowly put the throttle down.

Now I have checked for vaccum leaks, recirc valve is good and no boost leaks either.

Any ideas what it could be? Not getting any errors come up.

Cheers dom

Just wanted to update ...

Problem fixed. It was the tiny one way valve on the vacuum pump.... Replaced and all is back to normal.
