Drivers door electrics

Featured Replies

Hi, new to this site, I have a 2018 Edge for 2 months and the drivers side electric window controls and electric mirror controls have stopped working and are not lit up either, however the central locking button does work. I checked the manual and changed the interior fuse number 25 which the manual says is for driver side mirrors and window control but this didn't work, the windows work on the other buttons on the other doors and the central locking works on the key fob and folds the mirrors. Any ideas please?

Sounds like you are missing the main ground connection on the door electrics. Check the harness/connector between the main body and the door. Look for signs of damage or more likely corrosion of the connector pins.

Thank you, I'll check that.
