Injector Open/Short Circuit

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm after some advice, I have a 2008 Mk6 Fiesta 1.4 TDCI which has 2 injector faults!

Scanned with ForScan and came back with P0101 and P0103 Open/Short Circuit. - I've unplugged each injector and found injectors on Cyclinder 1 and 3 make no difference to how the car runs when unplugged. (Struggles to start, need to keep the revs up and runs lumpy.)

I've tested for the injectors using the multimeter and found injectors 2 and 4 are reading around 200ohms yet 1 and 3 are around 190. So i assume the injectors are find?
Tested for 12v and found all injectors are reading aroung 50v!!

i've tested for continuity on the injector plug to the round connection and thats fine. Tested from the othersde of the harness back to the pins on the ecu and we have continuitythere.

Any idea where I should be looking next? Any common issues regarding this situation?

Regards, Lee.
