Edge tank capacity

Featured Replies

Hello

I'm new owner of Edge vignale awd 2.0l diesel 2017.

I wonder what is the capacity of the diesel tank?

Internet says that is 68 litres but I dont know for sure.

Last time car told me that I have range on 50km and showed empty. I filled it up with only 53 litres. So 68 can't be true? I wonder...

Thanks.

All the info I can find says 68 litres too, but you've got to remeber, there is a reserve beyond the range to emtpy.

It's usually 5-10% of the capacity in reserve, so even if you drove until you had 0 range, there'd still be up to about 7 litres still in there.

OK, thanks. Nice to know.

Before Edge I had S-Max and it didn't have that reserve. When it showed empty it really was empty

It has an 18 US gallon tank. Which is just a fraction over 68 litres. 🙂
