KA Mk2 - Screech noise on start up

Hi, low mileage 1.2 petrol KA Mk2 was starting and running without any problems. I had a new clutch fitted and battery after purchasing a year ago, then it sat mainly due to covid. it's been serviced and cambelt changed but recently it's developed a horrible shrill squeak / chirrup on start up. I'm sure it's not the auxiliary belt as I've watched as it's started, the sound appears to come from the very top of the engine.  It then goes and runs and drives without problem. The car labours to start a bit but it always seems to in cold damp weather. Sorry it's not much to go on, I have a video which I could upload if the forum allows it.
