My ford edge has never show anything in the upper road sign recognition circle, it shows a speed in the lower circle but nothing ever in the top one, any ideas?? ( the one with the oncoming traffic warning, i have never seem anything pop up on mine)

If you go through roadworks etc with a no-overtaking sign it will illuminate to denote no overtaking.

Take a drive to either the Tyne Tunnel or Dartford Tunnel always comes on.

From my experience, it rarely shows in the UK. We don't have many of the 'No Overtaking' signs. It comes on a lot more in mainland Europe.

Hi, thank for the reply all, yeah i see, so it dont come up much here then, thats a shame, i though it would of picked up on give way, stop signs, warning ect. lol 😁

Interesting. I've had my Edge for a year now and have never noticed that warning. Guess I've not done enough driving this past year.

Mine has only ever come on in an area of roadworks. You rarely see the sign anywhere else. 

Of course the problem that does happen is that once it has seen a "No Overtaking" and it puts it on the IC it stays there for a very long time, as we very rarely use in the UK the "End of No Overtaking" sign, and even if we did the car doesn't recognise it.
