Hi 

is anyone else having troubles with there adaptive lights,  a warning comes on my dash every now and again and the lights are almost useless , only lighting up about 10ft of road at night ,  is there a cheap fix for this problem ?  

it says to check the manual but that is useless,  tells me nothing

    Sounds like they are going into 'safe mode'. It's not uncommon but I don't personally know a great deal about it. If you join the Facebook group I admin for the mk5 then you will get help there. Two members in particular will know - Malcolm and Alyson.
