Hi all, ive noticed an issue with my mk4 mondeo, it likes to vibrate a bit at 1200-2000RPM when sitting in neutral as well as slight diesel knock around that range when the engine is warm while driving the car.

I have also had a look at the Cylinder balance on all four cylinders and number 3 seems to be a bit of a big outlier. I dont know if this is a massive issue or not.

One last thing i have also checked all of my injectors and they all end in the number 2. meaning they are likely the non defective batch from siemens?

I have also a mk4 1.8tdci.

And it also vibrates too if revving on neutral.

Also when driving , some weird noise on approx 2800rpm , i am not sure what is it , might be imbalance too.

I have Forscan and cable , but i don´t even know what that cylinder balance indicates and how it is measuring that parameter?

Is there some bad injectors fitted in those cars? and what p/n are bad ones?

Hi did you ever figure this out? I also have near enough the same readings as you and I’m wondering is this is normal or not
