Sync3 retrofit - factory rear camera problem

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

I'm nearly on finish retrofitting sync3 to 2014 Ford Kuga. My biggest problem is factory reversing camera. I tried connect green Fakra connector (from coloured FCDIM screen) to APIM but I haven't got video (reverse gear activate it but is blue or black screen)

Camera signal is coming from this connector?

I really appreciate any help. I spend many hours for searching, and I nearly surrender for a while 😉

Thanks

Matt

Silly question but have you reprogrammed the car and turned the camera on in the software ?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not checking this to be honest I was sure is active. I updated APIM As-Build data using donor car who has camera, also when I engage reverse I have a reverse screen -but is blue or black, without video.

I fitted a reverse camera to mine (not an original) and before I turned it on in the APIM settings, I also got a blue screen when I selected reverse.
