This is what keeps coming up the bulbs have been changed and working OK but then this happened after the bulbs were changed

The warning does not just cover the headlights. Most probable issue is a lamp has failed so you need to check every front light.

Side Lights

Day Running Lights (DRL)

Dipped Beam

High Beam

Front Fog (if fitted)

Also you need to check when the indicator is on, that the DRL for that side goes dim if that is the normal system for the lights fitted on your car.

If you still find nothing wrong then you will have to connect up a laptop with FORScan and see what the DTC is.

Do you have AFS headlights (swivels when you turn the steering, which do fail) or the Bi-Xenon units (no swivel, but bulbs are D1S type and cost £30+ each) ?

Ah I see so could be side lights or something because I know the headlights are working and I just leave them on automatic so I will check this. Thank you for your reply

Ok, so time to bring out the big guns !!

You need a laptop, FORScan software, and a vLinker FS lead.

Download FORScan form here: https://forscan.org/download.html

Buy new vLinker FS lead from here: https://www.bmdiag.co.uk/forscan-diagnostic-cable-for-ford-vgate-vlinker-fs ---- OR from here ---- https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/Vgate_vLinker_FS_USB/p4541936_21548171.aspx

Use FORScan to get the true DTC which will tell you exactly what the fault is.

Hi  I have the same issue.  Did you find out what the problem was in the end and how to fix it?
