car won’t start

Featured Replies

I’ve recently bought a second hand 2012, when I got her she was a bit jumpy when driving her, then she would rough idle. I figured dirty diesel and put reddex in the tank and changed the diesel filter, seemed to have solved the problem for a week or so. Started getting jumpy again but not as frequently and today she was rough idling again and now she won’t start at all, any suggestions?

Your profile says ford focus yet you've posted this in the edge forum so which one is it?

Have you checked the basic stuff such as battery voltage?

"Edge" was a trim level below Zetec on several models back then (my Mrs had a Fiesta Edge) so I can see where the confusion could arise. Pretty sure it will be a Focus.

Yes, you're right. I remember a Mondeo Estate I had a while back was an Edge!
