Hi all

Not sure if I'm doing something  wrong, I'm trying to fine out if my car has been fixed on a recall or not, but when I go on this etis site, it looks like you have to be a Ford employee or a dealer, so any help on this will be gratefully  received. 

Just select Vehicle on the top menu bar, then put in your registration ... ALL UPPER CASE and NO SPACES! i.e. XY12ACB

Not sure if Etis gets updated if recall work done.  It shows recalls but I thought that stayed on Etis even if work was done.  I might be wrong .  Can anyone tell us for sure

 

After reading this thread I checked the Focus which had the Cam Sprocket changed on a recall last year and ETIS did not show anymore outstanding recalls for it.

It only shows outstanding recalls on any vehicle, not previously completed ones.  Can take a few days to update though.

ETIS will show all outstanding recalls OR the message below (highlighted in RED) when there are no recalls or they have all been carried out/actioned ...

If you have any items listed here, then they still need doing! Your dealer 'should' be checking this when you have your car serviced. Servicing by a local back-street dealer, will most likely not pick these up as they probably can't claim from Ford for the work to be carried out.
