Heater blower stuck on max

Featured Replies

Hi,

first time posting but found these forums to be really helpful with my previous Xmas.

I have an issue with my heater blower stuck on max.

this happens even when the system is off. I have pulled the fuse out until I can sort it.

im told it’s the heater resistor, however I can’t find any information as to where it is. I’m calling Ford on Monday to order the part.

does anyone know the location of the resistor?

car is 2012 1.6 Tdci titanium.

any help would be appreciated

thanks

mike

The resistor pack is behind the pollen filter housing behind the glove box, hope that helps.

Great, thanks for that, I’ll try and get in there tomorrow, hopefully that will cure it!

thanks

Did you solve the problem? My S-max got the same problem.

I can only see two possible answers to that question. Either Mike (welshcmax) has been driving around for the last 3 years with the heater blower stuck on max, or, he fixed it. Either way you're not going to get an answer from him since he was last here in May 2022
